In each section there are answers to frequently asked questions that give additional information on these topics. This guide also contains a section on choosing and working with a lawyer and on useful phone numbers. Expect Respect brochure: describes elder abuse and the types of abuse occurring to older adults as well as how one may prevent elder abuse from occurring and resources for help. It also has a brief description about the Manitoba Seniors and Healthy Aging Secretariat. Safety for Seniors factsheet: provides resources for elder abuse, facts about elder abuse and possible signs of abuse occurring to older adults. Manitoba Seniors Guide: is a source of information on a wide variety of resources and services available to older Manitobans.
